The Vision: R3
Over the next two years we're asking God to help us . . .
Reach every person we can with the gospel by . . .
>building out the property located at 580-586 N. Michigan St. in Elmhurst to address 4 key needs:
Permanent worship gathering space for up to 225 adults
Excellent children’s & youth ministry space to serve families
Sufficient office space in the same location as our worship gathering space
>increasing the evangelistic temperature in our church by forming an Outreach Influence Team composed of all the leaders in our church and equipping them to increase their temperature so they can help those they lead do the same.
Redeem the culture in practical ways by . . .
>building a new suite of offices for Avenue Women’s Center as part of the remodeling project at 580 N. Michigan St.
>using this new location to expand ministry to the community through classes like Zumba, Financial Peace University, Marriage and Parenting, and Celebrate Recovery.
Reproduce disciples and churches by . . .
>equipping our church body to live on mission right where God has already placed us by seeing 75% of our church body participating in a Missional Community.
>supporting Kyle and Coleen Gennicks and their family to plant Mission Church in Montgomery, IL.
The Opportunity: 580 - 586 N. Michigan St. Elmhurst, IL
The Need: 100% participation
Our prayer is that God will challenge our hearts in the area of generosity and through this we will Step Forward Together into the next chapter that He has in store for Pathway Community Church.
"Step Forward Together is first and foremost a discipleship initiative."
The primary goal of this campaign is 100% participation and the secondary goal is $550,000. We want everyone at Pathway Community Church to take a step of faith and grow in generosity. So, whether you've never given anything before, or you're a consistent giver, will you ask God how he wants you to step forward together in faith?
Financial Goal: $550,000
- $375,000 needed to build out 580 – 586 Michigan St.
- $100,000 needed to furnish space with office furniture, chairs, appliances, audio equipment, video screens and equipment, Pathfinder Kids’ furniture, signage, and some buffer for overage costs)
- $25,000 needed to build out Avenue Women’s Center space
- $50,000 or 10% to support Kyle and Colleen Gennicks at Mission Church in Montgomery IL through Converge Mid America
We're asking each person to make a 2 year pledge indicating how much they plan to give toward this generosity campaign over and above their normal giving. However, because of the shorter term nature of the build-out, we're asking everyone to consider making a generous first-fruit gift in December 2018.
This is where we believe the LORD is leading us. Since we have a God who can do more than we ask or imagine, we believe that as we step out in faith together, we will see the LORD do great things in our midst.
Will you join us as we step forward together to see God’s vision to reach the lost, redeem the culture and reproduce disciples and churches become a reality?
